Referring to Frost Bite's sire Snowmaster's Royal Extreme, Wade Gease noted "The Extreme line has over and over proven its worth as an upgrade in alpaca herds. Frost Bite has been on the top placings of them. I do believe he is the best. I also believe it is because of the Dam he came out of. His Mother, Louisa de Bolivia is full Bolivian. Good Bolivians are known for their fineness. Frost Bite has done amazingly well with the stiff competition and genetics I know he has repetitively beaten in halter and Breed and Owned yearling males."
Frost Bite's first cria, Carmelita of Huacaya Hills, hit the ground last summer and she is a real beauty. Her darker fleece demonstrates that Frost Bite is able to throw color, as well as pass on his defined crimp, density and fineness. A number of Frost Bite crias are due this summer and we are really excited to see what we get for 2011!
